Description:
Darcie Kent Vineyards, based in Livermore California, is seeking an experienced, dynamic Accountant to facilitate its growth trajectory across its diversified AG-related businesses. The Accountant reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is a key team member to the Finance function across all Kent Family enterprises.
Responsibilities:
· Produce analysis and journal entries that produce GAAP financial statements.
· Manage invoices and payments in accordance with the Company’s cash management needs.
· Reconcile bank accounts.
· Manage payroll accounting entries.
· Manage depreciation schedules and related journal entries.
· Prepare sales and property tax returns.
· Process expense reports.
· Manage daily point of sale transactions into the General Ledger.
· Contribute to cost accounting projects necessary for the Financial close.
· Assist with the development of cash flow models for the enterprise’s businesses.
· Assist with regulatory audits.
· Assist with projects that enhance the Company’s financial controls.
Qualifications:
· Proven track record of working in a finance function that closes the books in a timely manner.
· Experience working with enterprise level software packages.
· Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
· Demonstrated ability to produce complex financial analysis.
· Demonstrated ability to work with 3rd party audit entities.
· Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
· Excellent communication skills, ambitious, outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic and goal-oriented.
· Service driven and focused on providing world-class customer experience.
Salary Information:
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k plan and other employee benefits.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
